We Endorse H.R.4196, A Bill to Include Early Child Education Jobs in The Federal Work-Study Programs

We endorsed the bipartisan bill sponsored by Joaquin Castro (TX-20) and Tom Cole (OK-4), and Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger (VA-7) H.R.4196 - To amend the Higher Education Act of 1965 to include child development and early learning as community services under the Federal work-study program.

In short, under this bill early education jobs could be part of the Federal Work Study Program. This will provide more entry points for college students to get experience in early childhood education which could be a feeding system into people choosing ECE as a career post graduation.
